Why become an Affiliate?

When a user clicks on an ad or link on your site or newsletter to one our products, SellShareware will keep track of them, and if they buy the product, even weeks later, you'll get a commission.

It is really that simple. It costs you nothing to join, there is no risk, and it really works. Not only can you earn revenue, but since our products can be downloaded and tried before purchase, your users will actually appreciate the advertising.

How it works

First you sign up for a SellShareware affiliate account. This tells SellShareware about you, your site(s), and where to send the checks.

Next, you will be sent descriptions, banner ads, and the URL to link to for each product. You then place these links and banners anywhere you like on your site linking to our products. You can advertise any way you like - but NO SPAMMING will be tolerated. If you are reported for spamming (unsolicited emailing of) this affiliate program your affiliate account with be terminated immediately.

When a user clicks from your site to one of our products you are advertising, he can get all the details about the software. She can then choose to either purchase the software immediately, or download and try the product out and decide later.

If the user decides to purchase the software immediately, and a lot do, SellShareware will process the order and credit your affiliate account with a sale. If the user decides to download and try the software first then SellShareware record the users email address and save it in their database. A cookie is also placed on their system, noting the fact that you sent them to try our software. If at anytime later that user purchases, SellShareware will match up the email address with your account (the email address is used for this purpose in case the user has cookies disabled - cookies are used only as a backup system), and make sure that you get credit for the sale.

How much will you earn?
We offer a clean 30% commission on affiliate sales.

When do you get paid?
You can check your account details at any time to see how much you are earning. SellShareware pay on a monthly basis. Since there could be a small percentage of refunds, SellShareware delay payments by 30 days. So, you will be sent a check 30 days after the close of each month. For example, sales you generate in November would be paid at the end of December.
